used in meeting the needs of others in the church and community. As every person
uses their gifts and talents, the person grows and so does the church. Information about each church ministry is listed below to help you and your

Children & Preschool. Our Children's Ministry exists to bring children into a relationship with Jesus Christ, to develop them as worshippers and students of God’s Word.
We endeavor to partner with their families in both evangelistic and discipleship
pursuits.

many ways to get involved in the youth group whether it is one of the weekly
activities or an event.

Men's
Ministry. Men's Fraternity is a series of three one-year-long studies, beginning with The Quest for Authentic Manhood, followed by Authentic Manhood: Winning at Work and Home and concluding with The Great Adventure series.

Women's
Ministry. Women’s Ministries is an intergenerational group of ladies
whose main focus is Bible study. Through studying God’s Word, we become better
women, sisters, friends, wives, mothers and grandmothers.

Senior Adults. First Baptist Church officially formed a Senior Adult ministry group in 1985.
This group exists to encourage and care for one another in all kinds of ministries – and to provide lots of Christian fellowship.

Bible
Fellowship. There
are many options adults, youth and children have to choose from each week. This weekly schedule will give you the day of the class and the time the class
meets each week.

Music
Ministry. This vibrant ministry of the church has opportunities
for all members to use their abilities in worship. Children, youth and
adults are all encouraged to participate.

Prayer Ministry. At First Baptist we believe that prayer is essential for the success
of every
ministry, program and individual at our church. We encourage our membership to
spend time in daily prayer and Bible study, as well as offering organized time
for corporate prayer.

Library. As believers, we continually seek to develop our gifts and organize our skills
to worship God and to serve the body of Christ. We look to fill our mind with
things that edify and things that encourage, rather than things that do not promote
godly living.

Crafts. First Baptist Church offers several areas for individuals who enjoy working in crafts as a hobby or as a ministry.

Weddings. Ever since the renovation of our historical Memorial Chapel, it has been a popular setting for weddings. This room looks very much as it would have looked in its early days, but it is complete with sound, lighting and projection equipment.
