First Baptist Church Children's Ministry exists to bring children into a relationship with
Jesus Christ and to develop them as worshippers and students of God’s Word. The
curriculum focuses not only on a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, His Son, but also on relationships with others, and applying scriptural
principles to the choices we make in life. First Baptist endeavors to partner with
families in evangelistic and discipleship pursuits.
The Children's Ministry provides a safe, fun, enriching environment for your
preschooler, child or preteen to learn about Jesus Christ and discover how to
love others and become a faithful Christian.
Children’s Ministry workers are trained and abide by the rules set forth in
our Children and Preschool Policies Manual.

Year-Round Activities for Children:
Bible Fellowship
Each Sunday, children enjoy a time of learning Bible truths, creative play time
that supports that teaching, crafts, music and other fun activities. Children
meet in the three-story brick building that sits just northeast of our main
Worship Center.
Preschool and nursery facilities are on the first floor of the Children’s
Building, and, for security reasons, preschoolers and infants must be checked in
and checked out by parents or other authorized family members at "Noah's Ark" just inside the west entrance.
Children's Church

Worship KidStyle meets in room #100 (Office Building) during our 10:49 and 10:50 AM services. This high-tech, interactive atmosphere offers exciting music and activities as well as hands-on opportunities for learning Bible truths. Children’s Church is open to all children grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Parents: Please sign your children in at Noah's Ark (downstairs in the children's building). You may sign them out at Room #100.
Younger children are welcome to stay in their Bible Fellowship areas for an Extended Session – a continuation of Bible-based playtime and learning.
Preschool Play Dates
Twice a month you are invited to bring your preschoolers (birth - 4 years) and enjoy a morning of playing together and hanging out with other families. Grandparents are welcome, too. Structured and free play - and a great time for the kids AND the adults. Sometimes we set up playstations around the Gym - and sometimes we go out to play in the park. Occasional field trips.
9 AM on selected Monday mornings. See church calendar or call the church office (Vicki or Pete) for more information.

Pure Energy (Music Club)
Music Club is designed to teach children the fundamentals of music as they learn
how to worship God through singing and musical expression. Fun activities

built on the teaching of music theory, Biblical stories and doctrine. In
addition to weekly meetings, the children will work together to present a song
or short drama during at least one church service each
semester. A musical production is also done at least once a year. They meet every Wednesday at 5:45 PM during the school year.
The 2010/2011 schedule will kick off on Wednesday, September 8.
Please check in at Noah's Ark. Registration and Medical Release forms are required.

GAs (Girls in Action) & RAs (Royal Ambassadors)
Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is a Bible-centered, church-based, Southern Baptist mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6. RAs and GAs meet every Wednesday during the school year in the Children and Youth Building from 6:45-7:45.
The 2010/2011 schedule will kick off on Wednesday, September 8.
