Mission Reports
"Operation Inasmuch" Report
Project leader, Delton Haynes, says, 'I believe I am safe in saying that operation Inasmuch transformed Fist Baptist Church of Bradenton. I have never seen so many people so excited."
Here's what 212 volunteers accomplished:
- Donated seventeen units of blood
- Checked and change the oil for 19 single moms/widows
- Cared for volunteer's small children
- Prepared and delivered 200 comfort/hygiene bags to nursing homes, seafarers, etc.
- Collected 3,600 lbs of food for Meals on Wheels and St. Joseph's Food Pantry.
- Spruced up an old Habitat House
- Visited all First Baptist homebound members
- Prepared lunch and delivered it to all the volunteers
- Cleaned up the grounds and trimmed the trees at Manatee Religious Services
- Painted the exterior of north River Care Pregnancy Center
- Painted the interior of the child care center operated for underprivileged families
- Made and delivered 70 lap robes to local nursing homes
- Washed cars (for free!) and received $229 in donations for Haiti Earthquake Relief
- Recorded all of this in photographs

Community Outreach and Neighborhood Mission Project
