Pure Energy is designed to teach children basic musical concepts as they learn how to worship God. To make this a fun experience for all, leaders strive to teach many methods of worship such as singing, playing instruments, choreographed songs, and drama while teaching music theory, Biblical stories and doctrine. In addition to weekly meetings, the children combine together to present a song or short drama during at least one of the church services each semester. A musical production is also done at least once a year.
Pure Energy meets every Wednesday from 5:45—6:45 throughout the school year.
Classes are divided into five age groups:
- Pure Energy 100%: Preschool (3-4 year olds)
- Pure Energy 1: Grades K - 1st grade
- Pure Energy 2: Grades 2 - 3
- Pure Energy 3: Grades 4 - 5
- Pure Energy Praise Team: Grade 6
