The First Baptist Church of Bradenton has had a long tradition of musical excellence. We continually strive to give God our best as we sing and play for Him in our Worship Services and in our seasonal productions. Our School of Music provides a wonderful opportunity to develop those special musical talents that come from our Heavenly Father.
Lessons
Private instruction is offered in several areas of the performing arts and is open to anyone, young and old, who have a desire to learn. Thirty-minute weekly lessons are available in piano, violin, viola, trumpet, trombone and guitar. Age restructions apply to brass and guitar; please call for details. For those interested in longer lessons, a limited number of 60-minute slots are available by special appointment.
Enrollment is now open for all fall classes. To register, fill out the enrollment form and mail it with your $20 registration fee. The link to the registration form can be found at the bottom of this page or on the website Resources page. Also review the School of Music handbook for current policy changes, fees and payment schedule.
Faculty
Qualified Christian instructors, specialists in both performance and teaching, make up our faculty. Each person is carefully screened to ensure compatibility with our Christian philosophy as well as to provide you with the best possible musical training.

Recitals
Students are expected to participate in our annual springtime recital. Our next recital will be on May 17, 2011.
